In an exquisite Grade 2 listed former church, next to the landmark Almshouses, the property has been restored and refurbished to the highest standard. There is now a generous performance space, a meeting room, kitchen area plus a pretty pollinator garden designed and managed by local volunteers. All parts of the venue are available to hire. Run by volunteers the Centre is a busy place seven days a week. There are regular concerts, theatre productions, film shows, exhibitions of art and of local heritage. It is home to an extensive range of activities including Science Club, Yoga, creative arts workshops, Salsa Dance and groups for French, Photography, Philosophy, and Tai Chi.
Visitors are more than welcome to call in and look round the stunning interior either during office hours or by appointment for an out-of-hours tour.
