The walk is easy to moderate, mainly on generally good paths but can be muddy after wet weather so good footwear is advisable. An easy ramble with one short steep climb and two steep flights of steps.
Immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of Goytside Meadows with this charming 1¾ mile walk, perfect for a leisurely escape into nature. Beginning at the Rock Mill Centre, wander through Torr Mill’s remnants and cross the picturesque Millward Memorial Bridge over the River Sett.
Follow the path alongside the serene River Goyt until you reach Goytside Farm, where the pastoral landscape unfolds before you. Traverse the rolling hills, breathe in the fresh air, and soak up the scenic views. Conclude your journey with a leisurely stroll back to the New Mills Town Centre, where you can reward yourself with a comforting cup of tea or coffee.
