Newtown Recreation ground – Grove St, High Peak SK22 3HZ
The rec is a large field, that is used for football with goal posts. Some weekend football matches and training take place here.
It also has a BMX/mountain bike trail, skate board equipment and a small open play area with a set of toddler and junior swings, a rocking horse and spider climbing frame.
It also hosts the annual New Mills carnival in June.
