About Us
The New Mills Heritage Centre, managed by New Mills Town Council, is located on the ground floor of High Lea Hall. Originally established in 1989 at Rock Mill Lane, the Centre welcomed over 12,000 visitors annually. It moved to its current location in 2023.
The Centre features a museum, shop, and a seating area for refreshments. We offer a range of publications, maps, trails, sundries, and light refreshments. The collection includes over 250 items, with permanent displays, temporary exhibitions, and special events.
Volunteer Support
Our friendly volunteers provide information, manage the shop, and assist with research and local recommendations. They can help with accommodation suggestions, walks, local history, and dining options.

I am looking to include a visit in our coach tour next year.
Please can you advise where coach parking is available near you?
Many thanks
Marion
We heard that Tideswell Band are performing at Low Leighton Methodist Church on Sat 7/10/23, at 7.30 pm.
Can you confirm this please?
Hi, That is correct, it is £8 and can be paid on the door. Hope this helps.
