Ascend towards High Lea Road, where panoramic views of Disley and Lyme Park unfold. As you continue, a rugged lane beckons, guiding you past Shaw Farm and up gentle hills with picturesque vistas of Kinder. Pause at the serene stone memorial benches and enjoy the poetic touch of local heritage before continuing towards Mellor Cross.
Explore the paths behind the cross for breath-taking panoramic views before descending towards Primrose Lane. Wander through tranquil fields, following well-marked stiles and paths, eventually looping back past a serene lake and the inviting golf clubhouse. This delightful walk concludes as you return to New Mills, ready to retrace your steps back to the station, enriched by the natural beauty and historic charm of the area.
