Walk 3: New Mills – Goytside Farm – Canal – Waterside Road – Hague Bar – Mousley Bottom – Millennium Walkway
Spanning approximately 4 miles, this varied route takes about two hours depending on how frequently you stop to admire the scenery. The trail leads you through peaceful farmland, alongside the Peak Forest Canal and River Goyt, and across two nature reserves—Goytside Meadow and Mousley Bottom. Terrain ranges from flat, easy canal towpaths to rugged tracks, muddy fields, and a long flight of steps.
