Short Description Our goal is to provide support for our community's most vulnerable families by providing early intervention, offering support through pregnancy, post-natal and progressing that support through to adulthood. We support families of children with SEND, offering peer support and social activities for their children who don't feel comfortable in mainstream youth activities. We also have a Alternative Provision for young people aged 12+.
Long Description Here's a list of what goes on at Youth Centre throughout the week:
Mondays - Basketball from 4.30pm to 6pm (£3 per session)
Tuesdays - Cookery classes for juniors and adults from 4.30pm. Bookable only.
Wednesdays - Forget me not Cafe from 11.30am to 1pm. £5 buys hot lunch, cakes/desserts unlimited tea/coffer and opportunities to chat and socialise.
Wednesdays - Takiwatanga from 4.30pm to 6pm for children and young people with neurodiversities - and family support group. (No charge)
Thursdays - Boxing sessions run from 6pm - 7pm (8 - 11 yrs £3) and 7pm - 8pm (11+ £3)
Fridays - Toddler mayhem runs from 9.30am to 11am. Free to attend, all donations welcome. Refreshments and biscuits, toast, juice, tea/coffee provided.
Fridays - Youth clubs (no charge) run from 5pm to 6.30pm (under 11's) and 7pm - 8.30pm (11+)

Long Description Peak Bean is a local family-run, small batch coffee roaster located at the Furness Vale Business Centre on Calico Lane, Furness Vale. Our beans are thoughtfully sourced from around the world, freshly roasted and then delivered straight to your door. We began our roots when running a small café in the village of Hayfield. Since we sourced our produce locally as much as possible, and created most of our menu in-house from scratch, it only made sense to give coffee a go! So we took the plunge, bought a roaster and started experimenting with creating blends. With no looking back we have carried on hand roasting single origin green coffee beans for more or less four years and now have a range of freshly roasted coffees that we are pretty proud of.
During this crazy time, we are still able to roast and deliver, We want to ensure everyone that we are following good hygiene when roasting and packing your orders. There is only the two of us so it is possible for us to pretty much self isolate when at home and at the roastery. Our deliveries will carry on, leaving your orders in a safe place or at the door, always keep a safe distance.
