High Peak Laser Engraving is a growing business inside the Indoor Market run by Paula & Julie from New Mills Pet Supplies.
We have the ability to engrave most items from Pet Tags for your beloved animals to gifts and keep sakes for your loved ones.

All items are made using our Laser engraver inside our shop and can be personalised with any message if required. If something we already have isn't quite right, feel free to ask and we can change it to something more personal.
Our items are currently made from various styles of wood finishes, perspex if preferred or we can also engrave on slate too so hopefully there will be something that suits your needs.

Mondays - Basketball from 4.30pm to 6pm (£3 per session)
Tuesdays - Cookery classes for juniors and adults from 4.30pm. Bookable only.
Wednesdays - Forget me not Cafe from 11.30am to 1pm. £5 buys hot lunch, cakes/desserts unlimited tea/coffer and opportunities to chat and socialise.
Wednesdays - Takiwatanga from 4.30pm to 6pm for children and young people with neurodiversities - and family support group. (No charge)
Thursdays - Boxing sessions run from 6pm - 7pm (8 - 11 yrs £3) and 7pm - 8pm (11+ £3)
Fridays - Toddler mayhem runs from 9.30am to 11am. Free to attend, all donations welcome. Refreshments and biscuits, toast, juice, tea/coffee provided.
Fridays - Youth clubs (no charge) run from 5pm to 6.30pm (under 11's) and 7pm - 8.30pm (11+)

Hi, I'm David and I started training a while ago to become a fully-qualified herbalist providing health services to my community.
Since then, I've had the pleasure and honour to help clients around the High Peak improve their health with plants and turn around what sometimes had been ailing them for many years.
I also gained a PG cert in psychology to support my work as a herbalist.
I specialize in functional disorders (nervous system, digestive system and stress and anxiety disorders)
The Gallery is an Independent Artist Cooperative selling contemporary art and craft made in the High Peak to suit all budgets. A lovely open space across two floors, displaying original art, contemporary jewellery, ceramics, fused glass, textiles, wood, cards and gifts. The artists and makers staff the gallery themselves, hang all the artwork and change the work on view every few weeks to fit the seasons.
The Gallery is a Covid Secure space, with strict hygiene and social distancing measures in place. Sandwiched between an excellent bookshop and sewing shop in the cultural quarter of New Mills, we are always happy to welcome new browsers and visitors to our bright and colourful Gallery.

Spring Bank Arts Centre operates for all the community in New Mills. In an exquisite Grade 2 listed former church, next to the landmark Almshouses, the property has been restored and refurbished to the highest standard. There is now a generous performance space, a meeting room, kitchen area plus a pretty pollinator garden designed and managed by local volunteers. All parts of the venue are available to hire. Run by volunteers the Centre is a busy place seven days a week. There are regular concerts, theatre productions, film shows, exhibitions of art and of local heritage. It is home to an extensive range of activities including Science Club, Yoga, creative arts workshops, Salsa Dance and groups for French, Photography, Philosophy, and Tai Chi.
Visitors are more than welcome to call in and look round the stunning interior either during office hours or by appointment for an out-of-hours tour.
