For the past few months Visit New Mills have been working alongside High Peak Borough Council to create a new town map to welcome visitors.
The folded A2 map has a town map on one side and a selection of local walks on the other side (courtesy of New Mills Walkers are Welcome), also involved in creating this wonderful town asset were New Mills Festival making it a true New Mills collaboration.
The paper maps will be available from this weekend in Sett Valley Cafe, Bele Bakery and Cafe, Archies, Clockwork cafe, The Shrub Club, Gioia Mia cafe, The Cheese Wheel, Sett Valley Cafe and will also be held by New Mills Walkers are Welcome and shortly in New Mills Library – if you can’t get hold of a copy or would like a copy posting to you please get in touch on visitnewmills@hotmail.co.uk and we will post one out to you.
In the coming weeks large versions of the map will be installed at our train stations, Torr Top car park and outside New Mills Heritage Centre – the train stations will also be installed with some fantastic images of our town too.
