Rock Mill Centre - New Mills Information Centre

Welcome to Rock Mill Centre – New Mills Information Centre, a community and visitor centre to celebrate and enjoy everything New Mills.

The Rock Mills centre is the place to visit for information and leaflets on the local area, advice on the local history, and information on what to visit and how to explore on foot and by bike.

There is a small café in the centre, offering tempting cakes and flapjack, and staffed by volunteers who will give you a very warm welcome. Come to Rock Mill to chat with friendly people, learn something new, borrow an item and have a brew.

OPEN: 10am to 4pm on Wednesday to Sunday (And Bank Holiday Mondays!)

The venue holds regular events such as these below, plus one-off events and exhibitions. All spaces are available for hire and use, as are the display boards!

Family Quiz (monthly) Last Thursday of the Month 19.00 – 21.00 PM – Chance to challenge your family and friends with a fun and silly quiz.
Book Club (monthly) Saturdays 10.00 – 12.00 PM – More details are available from High Street Books and Records
New Mills Nature (monthly) Last Saturday of every month 10:30- 12:30PM – Drop in for nature: Share your ideas or concerns. Learn how projects are progressing. Find out how you can help. Shape future plans.

They also sell local art and merchandise for anyone wanting a gift or souvenir.

The venue is available to hire. It has several small rooms with tables and chairs, a kitchenette area and a toilet.
