New Mills is certainly blessed with literally hundreds of footpaths and many different walking groups catering for all types of walks – strenuous all day hikes, shorter informational walks and more recently walks aimed at our younger walkers.
New Mills Walkers are Welcome working with the Derbyshire Rangers will be hosting many walks during the year with several aimed specifically at younger people – check out the events tab for nature reserve walks and dawn chorus walks (very early start for that one but so worthwhile to get close to mother nature)
If you like walking just as a family or on your own pop in to New Mills  Heritage and Information Centre for a world full of maps, leaflets to suit everyone.
