Door 34 is the passion project of mother and daughter duo, Rachel and Selene. With a successful background in the catering and hospitality industry and experience across the board from kitchens to front of house roles and a degree in Events Management, the pair have a flair for wholesome homecooked food and service with a smile. Their love for food is driven by the part it plays in both physical and mental wellbeing and the duo wishes to utilise their enthusiasm for this, creating a friendly and upbeat environment for everyone to enjoy.
Door 34 is set to be a welcoming and social space serving feel-good food, ethically sourced barista coffee and homemade cakes. With an ever-changing menu including a large variety of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free delights, there is something for everyone. Alongside the core breakfast menu, there will also be a daily hot special, deli counter boasting exciting salads, savoury tarts and soups.
Pop by to see how they have reimaged the traditional Victorian Terrace into a modern café. Customers can enjoy the different styled rooms from the kitchen-diner to the upstairs lounge, with views over the Torrs Riverside Park. There is also a dedicated customer Wi-Fi, for those wanting to mix up their working from home space.
The pair have exciting plans to utilise the first-floor front room as a multifunctional space, linking the New Mills community together through the likes of evening classes, music events and much more.
There are baby changing facilities in the bathroom and highchairs available. Everybody welcome, including muddy boots and four legged friends.
