OPEN : New Mills Millennium Walkway
Update – as of 31 May the Millennium Walkway is now reopened Overnight on 2 May the New Mills Millennium Walkway was damaged at the west end with 7 of the side cables being cut This left DCC with no alternative but to close the walkway whilst the damage is properly surveyed and repairs carries out. Initial surveys were due to be carried out today (Tuesday 8 May) and the repair is marked as urgent. As soon as we have a reopening...

Bat Man !
On the 28th August we have the South Lancashire Bat Group visiting (of Countryfile fame) to first of all do a video/talk about bats followed by a walk into The Torrs to go bat spotting.
